Dr. Adeel Iqbal MBBS BSc (Hons) AICSM MRCP
Dr. Adeel Iqbal is an NHS Medicine Consultant Physician in Acute Medicine as well as an independent Consultant to Pfizer and an academic national level speaker for Bristol-Myers Squibb. He has been awarded the Lord Eric Avebury Prize for public speaking and teaching. He is the founder of the International Education Fund at Imperial College London. His published research interests relate to the role of stem cell technology and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Iqbal has extensive experience of the NHS having worked in several leading hospitals. He has served as the Acute Medicine lead for King’s College London Final Year Medical Students and head of Physician Associates Academic Development programme. He has delivered thousands of academic lectures across the world. Dr. Iqbal has extensive experience in medical school applications and admissions and has delivered expert masterclasses across the world. He has been involved on admissions panels for some of the UKs most prestigious medical school.s
Dr. Iqbal graduated from Imperial College London winning the Rector’s Outstanding Achievement Medal as well as multiple academic prizes for the highest performance in medical examinations - including the Abraham’s Award for medical pathology, a first-class honours degree from the National Heart and Lung Institute in Cardiovascular Sciences and the Patrick Trevor-Roper Scholarship from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. He has extensive experience in candidates to secure their first choice medical schools.
